US medical practices are hiring a Patient Outreach Coordinator through RemoteVetted. You'll contact patients to schedule appointments, send reminders about follow-ups for chronic conditions, and help keep them engaged in their care. You'll work directly with patients and clinical staff to improve attendance and health outcomes. This role is perfect if you're organized, empathetic, and enjoy helping people manage their health.

What you'll do
- Call and email patients to schedule appointments and confirm upcoming visits
- Send reminders for chronic disease follow-ups, vaccinations, and preventive screenings
- Track patient contact attempts and document outcomes in the electronic health record system
- Answer patient questions about appointments, medications, and clinic policies
- Work with clinical staff to identify patients who need outreach or follow-up care
- Maintain confidentiality and follow HIPAA regulations in all patient communications
- Handle patient data accurately and update records with contact information and notes
What you need
- Fluent English at C1 level (professional, confident communication)
- Minimum 2 years experience in patient coordination, medical office support, or similar healthcare role
- Ability to work 40 hours per week during US business hours, Monday to Friday
- Knowledge of basic medical terminology and familiarity with healthcare workflows
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail with patient information
Nice to have
- Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems like Epic or athenahealth
- Previous outreach or recall experience in a medical setting
- Experience with medical billing or insurance verification
- Bilingual skills (Spanish helpful for US Hispanic patient populations)
