US insurance agencies are hiring a quoting assistant through RemoteVetted. You'll gather customer information, run quotes through carrier systems, and prepare accurate proposals for licensed agents. It's a fast-paced role where attention to detail matters, and you'll learn the insurance business from the ground up while supporting agents who close the deals.

What you'll do
- Gather customer information via phone, email, and intake forms for quote requests
- Input customer data into quoting software and carrier systems accurately
- Run quotes across multiple insurance carriers to compare rates and coverage options
- Prepare and format quote documents for agent review and customer delivery
- Follow up with customers and agents on pending quotes and missing information
- Verify quote accuracy before sending to clients and licensed agents
- Maintain organized records of all quotes and customer interactions
- Answer basic customer questions about quote timelines and coverage options
What you need
- B2+ English level (fluent speaking and writing required for customer contact)
- 1+ years of experience in insurance, customer service, or administrative roles
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy with data entry
- Ability to manage multiple quotes simultaneously and meet deadlines
- Comfortable learning new software systems and carrier quoting platforms
- Reliable internet connection and quiet workspace for phone calls
Nice to have
- Experience with insurance carrier systems or quoting software
- Knowledge of personal or commercial insurance products
- Customer service experience in a professional environment
- Familiarity with CRM or administrative databases
